This project involved installing a new outfall to the Nooksack River for the City of Lynden’s Industrial Condensate Pipeline. The project includes approximately 450 feet of 36-inch auger bore under Hannegan Road, installation of 18-inch HDPE carrier pipe, and two duckbill check valves in the river. It also included cofferdam construction in the Nooksack River necessary for the outfall construction as well as extensive permitting, interagency coordination, and environmental mitigation. R&E provided the design and PS&E, including interdisciplinary design team project management and project permitting along with construction management and inspection during the construction phase.
