BRIDGES

R&E provides full service design and construction management for bridges of various sizes and types. Depending on the nature and complexity of your project R&E may team with specialized consulting firms to provide structural design, geotechnical design support and hydraulic analysis, while R&E provides full service civil design and project management.

PARKS

R&E provides a vast array of parks related design services which have included sports complex planning and design, parking lot design, pedestrian trails, ADA accessible facilities, restroom facilities, and pedestrian bridges among others. R&E can aid you in planning through full PS&E preparation.

SANITARY SEWER

Applying our past project experience, R&E will utilize your local standards, comprehensive plan and current Department of Ecology standards to efficiently design your sanitary sewer project. Specific services include traditional open cut or trenchless conveyance installation, sanitary sewer pump or lift stations and full PS&E preparation and construction management.

STORMWATER

R&E can provide you with stormwater design services following current Department of Ecology or Washington State Department of Transportation Hydraulics Manual standards and modeling requirements. Our stormwater services include system analysis, comprehensive planning, treatment, detention, outfalls, culverts and conveyance systems.

TRANSPORTATION

Our transportation systems designs are based on Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) and American Association of State and Highway Transportation Officials (AASHTO) design standards as well as local municipal standards where applicable. Our work includes the full range of services from corridor planning, to street and intersection design including signal systems and roundabouts through construction completion.

TRENCHLESS

Among the services R&E can provide our municipal clients, trenchless rehabilitation as well as new construction installation can be a cost effective and proven method of addressing aging and inadequately performing conveyance systems. As seen in the Trenchless example projects, R&E has the experience necessary for full design, plan and specification development, contract administration and project inspection to address the unique needs your trenchless project may encounter.

WATER SYSTEMS

R&E provides a full range of water system design and analysis ranging from conveyance design, to booster pump stations, to water storage, to providing our clients with Water System Plans meeting current Washington State requirements.

SITE DEVELOPMENT

R&E provides full service site development services to meet the needs of your project. Whether it’s a new City Hall, Fire Station, Library, or the demolition of aged out infrastructure, we have you covered.

FISH PASSAGE, HABITAT RESTORATION, & FLOOD PROTECTION

R&E provides design and construction management services for fish passage, habitat restoration and flood protection projects. Our experience includes floodwall and levee design, fish passage barrier removal, as well as riparian and upland habitat restoration.
