Reichhardt & Ebe has partnered with Transpo for this project which is to be built in two phases. The scope of this project includes creating the alignment for a new two lane road with bicycle lanes and pedestrian facilities from the current dead end of West Horton to Aldrich Road (Phase One) and from Aldrich Road to Northwest Drive. Stormwater and sewer design are also components to this project. This project is closely tied to the City of Bellingham’s Cordata Safe Routes to School project and will connect to the sidewalk in front of Cordata Elementary School. Once completed it will provide a multimodal connection from Meridian to Northwest Drive.
