SANITARY SEWER LIFT STATION NO. 2
Client Name: City of Lynden
Construction Cost: $300,000
R&E designed the lift station to accommodate larger pumps in the future with no additional modifications to the wet well. R&E worked closely with design team members to lay out controls and power for the lift station across a bridge at a remote location. This project involved the preliminary design for the replacement of Sanitary Sewer Pump Station No. 2. Project elements included basin analysis, flow calculations, wet well and pump sizing, siting analysis and preliminary plan preparation. Major elements included coordinating the project to be constructed during the Kok Rd. Reconstruction and Kok Rd. Bridge replacement, as well as locating the controls and power on the opposite side of the bridge as the wet well.
