Client Name: Whatcom County Parks and Recreation
Construction Cost: Est. $1.6 Million
This project provided for the construction of a new 1,270 square foot, single-story CMU & wood framed building, along with associated civil and site development work for Silver Lake’s Maple Creek Campground. Associated site improvements included drainage mitigation along with preparing a stormwater site plan, assisting the client with the environmental process and permitting, restroom and parking area design, and assessing and designing adequate water and sanitary sewer. Water improvements included a hydraulic analysis, assisting Parks with a Small Water System Management Plan, new well pump, and controls. R&E provided drainage design, environmental permitting, design for the parking area, as well as design for water main well pump, and sanitary sewer.
