BENDER ROAD WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT – NORTH OF BADGER ROAD

Project Details

Client Name: City of Lynden
Construction Cost: Est. $417,000
This project will replace approximately one mile of deteriorating asbestos concrete water main between E. Badger Rd. (SR 546) and Pangborn Rd.  R&E provided the design and permitting and is currently providing inspection services and construction management coordination along with multiple public agencies including the City of Lynden, Whatcom County Public Works, and WSDOT.  R&E is working with local farmers and landowners to locate the new water main within planned utility easements while providing new water services, fire protection, and increased system reliability.  As the City of Lynden has been facing frequent water main breaks, this project is a priority for the City.
