Tromp Road Utilities Improvement Project
Client Name: City of Lynden, WA
Construction Cost: $1.6 Million, Public Works Trust Funds Loan and local funds
Development of PS&E and construction management for installation of approximately 4,500 LF of 30” to 48” storm drain line, 4,000 LF of 12” water main, and 1,400 LF of 8” sanitary sewer line, in Lynden, Washington. The sanitary sewer mains presented challenging construction conditions as sections of this line were up to 20’ deep in areas with a high groundwater table. Installation of the sanitary sewer mains required dewatering using well points. Other responsibilities included permitting and coordination with other utilities and City staff.
