Cedar Drive Watermain Project
Client Name: City of Lynden, WA
Construction Cost: $528,700 (local funds)
Development of PS&E and construction management for installation of approximately 2,100 linear feet of 12” water main, and installation of 600 linear feet of 14” OD high density polyethylene pipe using horizontal directional drilling (HDD) along Cedar Drive, Lynden, WA. HDD was proposed to go under Fishtrap Creek, a WDFW typed stream, as well as to prevent potential damage to a school owned fish hatchery well located adjacent to Fishtrap Creek. Other responsibilities included permitting and coordination with other utilities, property owners, school district, and City staff. This project was completed in December 2006 on schedule and below budget.
