This projected provided for the structural overlay of approximately 1,500 linear feet of 17th Street from Liberty Street to the current northern terminus of 17th Street. The work included full depth grinding and reshaping portions of the existing roadway, and the construction of pedestrian ramps, sidewalks, and driveways.  Approximately 380 feet of new roadway was constructed from the current northern terminus of 17th Street, connecting to Main Street.  Other work included the installation of approximately 1,880 linear feet of water main and appurtenances, along with construction miscellaneous stormwater improvements and replacements throughout the project. R&E provided design, permitting, plans and specifications, and construction management services for this project.
